WurlD Songs

WurlD (Sadiq Onifade) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and producer born on January 2, 1987, in Lagos. He moved to Atlanta during his teen years to pursue studies and hone his musical craft.

He describes his sound as electro-fusion, blending R&B, soul, Afropop, and electronic elements. His debut EP Evolution dropped in 2013. Later works include his Love Is Contagious EP and tracks like “Wishes and Butterflies,” which won him a Headies award for Best Vocal Performance (Male).

WurlD is also credited as co-writer of the hit “Blow My Mind” by Davido & Chris Brown. He continues to explore global sounds while staying rooted in his African identity.
