His sound blends Afrobeats, afro-pop, dancehall, and reggae influences, and he’s known for his striking stage persona (including his signature eye-patch)
Ruger used to be signed to Jonzing World, but in 2024 he founded his own label, Blown Boy Entertainment, marking a new chapter of independence in his career.
