Ric Hassani Songs

Ric Hassani (Ikechukwu Eric Ahiauzu) is a Nigerian singer-songwriter born January 6, 1989 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He studied at Covenant University in Nigeria, then got a Master’s in Energy Economics from the University of Surrey.

He released his debut album The African Gentleman in 2016, and has since put out The Prince I Became (2021), Afro Love (2023), and Lagos Lover Boy. His song “Gentleman” was a breakout hit. He also released a fitness-oriented album Hassani Workout, built for cardio training.

Ric Hassani is known for his smooth vocals, soul, reggae and pop influences, and love-themed storytelling. He left a banking job to pursue music full time after a viral moment, and today is respected for his artistic identity and the authenticity of his sound.
