He grew up in Ajegunle, Lagos after being born in Umuahia, Abia State. He studied Business Management at Ambrose Alli University and developed interest in music very early, learning instruments like bass guitar, piano and percussion.
As a producer, Don Jazzy has shaped Afrobeats and pop music in Nigeria, creating hit albums and launching many stars through his label. Known for his distinct production style, showmanship and business acumen, he’s seen as one of the most influential figures in the modern African music industry.
