Born Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki on August 4, 1992, DJ Kaywise hails from Ile Ife, Osun State, Nigeria, but was raised in Lagos.
He began his career in the mixtape scene in 2010 and broke through with his acclaimed mixtape Emergency.
Kaywise is known for blending Afrobeat, Amapiano and street-hop elements. His single “What Type of Dance” featuring Mayorkun, Naira Marley & Zlatan Ibile peaked on the Billboard Top Triller Global chart.
