Adekunle Gold (Adekunle Almoruf Kosoko) is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and graphic designer born on January 28, 1987, in Lagos State. He is a member of the famous Kosoko royal family.
He gained recognition in 2015 with his hit single Sade, a highlife-inspired love song that earned him a deal with YBNL Nation, where he released his debut album Gold (2016). Over the years, Adekunle Gold has evolved from his signature highlife sound to a more global Afropop and R&B fusion.
